Ever dearest Marie,

Just a little note with a BIG Birthday wish, to someone who is very special, for her 20th birthday! I hope your birthday and the coming year is as wonderful as the time I have known you. If you were just anybody, then any old message would do. But you're not "just anybody." (Trust me on this one!) A message sent to you has to be just right. It has to be thoughtful and sincere, just like you. It has to let you know that it is sent with a big, thankful smile. It needs to let you know, just as soon as you read it, that it's from someone who cares so much about you and your happiness. It needs to be something you can read for this moment, but something you can remember long after this day is through.
